Some recipes require minimum parent levels (e.g., Liger requires parents at level 5+)

Level requirements must be met before breeding can be attempted

Breeding has a cooldown period between attempts (varies by recipe: 1.5-15 minutes)
Failed breeding attempts still consume the cooldown timer
Breeding two pets doesn't create a hybrid; instead, it generates a random new pet based on the recipe
If a recipe fails, you may get a duplicate of one of the parents

Some recipes have mutation potential, meaning the offspring can spawn with special variants:

Giraffe: Can produce Charged or Cosmic mutations
Weather Events: Breeding during Thunderstorms or Cosmic events increases mutation chances
Charged Pets: Appear during thunderstorms and are used in special recipes

Catching a new species often unlocks a new recipe. Check your "Recipes" tab frequently to see what combinations are now possible.

Feed your breeding pairs before attempting rare recipes to increase success chances
Breed during weather events (especially Thunderstorms) to increase mutation chances
Avoid random breeding - focus on known recipes with good success rates
Pair Legendary + Legendary for best chances at Mythical results
Check mutation potential - some recipes can produce valuable mutated variants
Food reduces breeding cooldowns - stock up before major breeding sessions
